A judge upheld 48 out of 50 indictments Thursday against two former NYPD detectives accused of raping a teen girl in their custody in Coney Island months ago.
Eddy Martins, 37, and Richard Hall, 32, left the 60th Precinct area to go to Gravesend on Sept. 15, according to investigators. They pulled over the teen and two of her passengers and searched them for drugs.
The teen, identified only as Anna, attended the hearing as well. She reportedly admitted to having drugs in her possession. The detectives handcuffed and arrested her -- then allegedly both raped her in a van before driving back to the precinct.
The teen was taken to Maimonides Hospital, where staff recovered DNA evidence that matched the defendants.
Following the ordeal, images posted to Anna's social media accounts have been publicized, which her attorney says is unfair.
"I think it's disgusting the way they keep attacking and shaming her," says attorney Michael David. "And I think the state Legislature is going to have to make new laws to protect rape victims."
The former detectives are due back in court April 5.
