Junior’s discounts cheesecake for anniversary
Junior's is fittingly offering 65-cent cheesecake slices in celebration of its 65th anniversary.
Owner Allen Rosen calls the promotion a thank you to all the customers who have supported the business started by his grandfather.
The offer applies to takeout slices, or is available with any dine-in entree purchase. The promotion ends at midnight.
The Brooklyn landmark opened at the corner of DeKalb and Flatbush avenues 65 years ago on Election Day.
Last year, Rosen says he rejected a $45 million deal to sell the restaurant's building to developers. He says it was the best decision he ever made.
