Lehman College opened its new virtual reality training lab to students Wednesday with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The I-Lab Virtual Reality Training Center will house an 11-month course teaching students about 3-D graphics, application development, animation and web design.
EON Reality, a California company, partnered with the school to install the lab.
Administrators say the new lab will give students an edge in the job market and open up new opportunities for them in tech fields.
