Major Deegan lanes reopen after emergency repairs
Two lanes on the Major Deegan Expressway have reopened following emergency repairs, according to the Department of Transportation.
Officials with the DOT closed the center and left lanes on the southbound side of the expressway between exits 6 and 7 this morning into this afternoon.
They say the closure was necessary for crews to make emergency repairs ahead of this weekend's anticipated snowstorm.
