Man attacked, phone stolen at 161st Street train station
A 26-year-old man's cellphone was snatched right from his hand while riding the subway in the Bronx, and when he tried to get it back, he was attacked.
It happened on Feb. 6, on the northbound D train around 9 p.m. 
Police say the suspect grabbed the phone out of the victim's hand and ran out of the station along with seven other suspects.
The man decided to follow the suspects into the tunnel area at the 161st Street train station, police say. When the man confronted the suspect he was punched in the face and nearly had his wallet stolen. 
Police describe the suspect as being 18 years old, 6'0'' tall and 150 pounds. They say he has a dark complexion, brown eyes, and black short afro-style hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green vest.
