A man has claimed to have found the very first spot of a Bronxhenge, a celestial event when the sun sets between buildings on a street in the city creating a natural light show.
There are already world-famous henges like the one observed in Manhattan, but there are also henges found in every borough except the Bronx.
Elbert Martinez says he has discovered the henge in the Parkchester section of the borough.
Martinez says he tracked the pattern of the sun every day for a year and discovered that on the first day of spring and last day of summer when the sun sets on Parkchester Road and East Avenue, you will witness something magical.
He says the chance to see the Parkchesterhenge will be on Friday, Sept. 22 at sunset.
And if you miss it, he says you can see it again on the first day of spring.
