Police say a man was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in Soundview.
They say 24-year-old Francisco Rodriguez was hit at around 4:30 a.m. outside an IHOP at Bruckner Boulevard and White Plains Road.
In surveillance video of the incident, Rodriguez is seen getting out of a car. The shooter then gets out of a different car and shoots him twice at point blank range.
Police say he was shot in the torso and wrist.
He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
Police say the suspect left the scene in a dark-colored Honda.
