Police are investigating a stabbing that took place at a train station Friday night by a group of men in Highbridge, officials say.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the 4 train station on 167th Street and Jerome Avenue.
Police say a group of four men approached the 39-year-old victim, and an argument ensued.
Police say the argument then escalated into a physical altercation, at which point one of the men stabbed the victim once in the abdomen.
It is unknown if there is any relationship between the victim and the suspects, and it is unclear what the argument was about.
News 12 is told the suspect is still at large. At this time, detectives are looking for surveillance video to assist with the investigation.
The victim is recovering in Lincoln Hospital in stable condition and is expected to be OK.
The incident follows a transit stabbing just two days ago, in which two women were stabbed at the Prospect Avenue 2 train.
Anyone with information about the suspects in Friday's incident is asked to contact police.
