Police are searching for a man who they say stabbed another man while riding the 2 train.
The incident occurred at Third Avenue and East 149th Street on Sunday.
Police say the two men argued over a seat before the suspect pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the abdomen and the left arm.
Surveillance video captured the suspect quickly walking out of the station on Sunday and removing his hat.
Police describe the suspect as a heavyset, black male about 50 years old.
