Man wanted for robbing cellphone store 4 times
A MetroPCS shop is looking to improve its security after being robbed four times in a span of two weeks.
Store surveillance video shows two instances where a worker was held at gunpoint.
In the other two incidents, the suspects grabbed merchandise and took off.
The latest incident occurred on Tuesday. Police say that the suspect entered the store and claimed that he had a gun in a black plastic bag, while demanding money.
The suspect then walked behind the counter, removed cash and an employee's handbag, and ran away.
Jay Manuel, the store's manager, says that he wants to install a buzzer that locks the door, so customers and workers feel safe.
"It's definitely something we need to work on because like I said, no one should be getting robbed four times. Not even once. It's not right. This is a business and at the end of the day, it messes up this business and the whole area because they will know people are coming here to rob," he said.
The suspect that police have identified is described as a dark-skinned man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information that could help is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
