Mass for disabled parishioners held in Kingsbridge
The Bronx's faithful celebrated a special Mass at Our Lady of Angels Parish Saturday for the mentally and physically disabled.
Started seven years ago by a blind parishioner, the annual Mass invites mentally and physically handicapped people to pray, sing and be blessed together.
"They can find there are a lot of blessings, despite their difficulties in life," said Mass organizer Florence Baney.
Church volunteers helped guide the disabled parishioners during the Mass.
