Developers held a ribbon-cutting for a new affordable housing unit in the Bronx Tuesday.
Officials described La Preciosa, the 49-unit complex at 1070 Washington Ave. in Morrisania, as a mixed-income, supportive housing development.
It comes equipped with artwork in the lobby, on-site supportive services for up to 10 individuals with special needs and solar panels on the roof.
The project is the first such collaboration between NYCHA and private developers, according to officials.
