Morrisania store reopens days after car hit building
A popular Morrisania discount store is back open for business after a car barreled through it just days ago.
On Monday, a car crashed through Bee & Bee Department Store, destroying merchandise but injuring no one inside.
Store owner Sharon Singh took a video of the damage just moments after the incident happened, showing scattered glass and damaged items everywhere.
Singh says repairs cost around $60,000, but she is more focused on the fact everyone was uninjured in the aftermath.
Bee & Bee has been open for 14 years after Singh and her husband immigrated from Guyana, calling her store her American dream.
