Mott Haven has been named as one of New York City’s neighborhoods to watch in 2019 by the website Street Easy.

Amauris Grullon, co-founder of Bronx Native on Lincoln Avenue, says he knows firsthand how much the Mott Haven section of the borough is on the rise.

Grullon says he was surprised Street Easy named it on the list by columnist Nancy Wu.

He hopes the list will provide an incentive for local business owners to re-invest.

"We need to protect our neighborhood, we need to protect our community that lives here, but we also need to be open to new opportunity, new investments that can strengthen and advance a neighborhood that's been here for generations,” says Brady.
