Mott Haven residents gathered Saturday to bring new life to an abandoned building.
Since the closure of the Lincoln Recovery Center in 2010, many residents have been advocating for the building, which once helped those with substance abuse problems, to be put to good use again.
Groups came together on 140th Street to celebrate arts and music to show what the future inside the building could look like.
They say the goal is to give local organizations a space to work to solve problems together.
