MTA announces RFK Bridge toll plaza reconstruction

Trips over the RFK Bridge are about to get a lot more congested. The MTA announced on Thursday plans to replace the toll plaza. The $213 million project is expected to last around 54 months.

MTA announces RFK Bridge toll plaza reconstruction
Trips over the RFK Bridge are about to get a lot more congested.
The MTA announced on Thursday plans to replace the toll plaza.
The $213 million project is expected to last around 54 months.
The lanes will include both cash and E-ZPass options, but will be fitted to make way for a fully electronic system should the MTA decide to eliminate cash lanes in the future.
Utilities and LED roadway lighting will also be included in the project.
