MTA bus loses control, jumps over sidewalk in Crown Heights; 4 injured

The MTA says no passengers were on board the B43 bus at the time.

A Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus was involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue.
News 12 is told the MTA bus lost control and jumped over a sidewalk. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m.
Four people were injured, according to the fire department. The MTA says no passengers were on board the B43 bus at the time.
Remnants of the accident could still be seen into the day with shards of glass on the floor and safety cones on the ramp where the railings used to be.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation. They say all of the injured people are expected to be OK.
