The MTA says it will expand bus service hours of operation on the Bx29.

The Bx29 runs from City Island to Bay Plaza Mall.

Officials say hours of service on the bus will be expanded an additional hour to include weekday travel from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. and on weekends from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The change is expected to take place in July.
