A mural honoring a sergeant killed in the line of duty was unveiled Monday in Soundview.
Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo was shot in the head and killed two years ago while he was responding to a call.
Lt. Emmanuel Kwo was with Tuozzolo the night he was killed.

"Paul's last words were, 'GUN! GUN! GUN!' three times and that's the only reason why I was able to get out of the way,” says Kwo.

They were responding to a call of an armed man entering the home of his estranged wife.
Now, a mural graces the exterior wall of the 43rd Precinct where he worked.
The artist who made the mural said he never knew Tuozzolo, but felt compelled to do something in memory of him.
Tuozzolo’s wife said that even though she lives on Long Island, she visits the precinct with family all the time.  She says that it will be nice to see her husband’s smiling face on the wall.
