The family of a 22-year-old Central Islip man is calling for justice after he was fatally struck by two vehicles who fled the scene earlier this week.
Police say Taekwon Campbell was struck Lowell Avenue on New Year’s Day.
Campbell's family wants the drivers to turn themselves in.
“They had no heart. No heart at all…They didn't even stop, look back, just went about their business. Left him there to die. It's just really sad,” says Joellia Gay, the victim's mother.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
