A no-kill shelter in the Bronx that had faced a possible closure will soon be getting a new home.
New Beginning Animal Rescue was in danger of closing in October due to expensive rent, but thanks to donors its doors will remain open.
The shelter on Newbold Avenue has saved numerous animals since it opened in 2010.
While they are still waiting for the paperwork to be finalized before releasing the new location, they tell News 12 the donors bought a new location for them and is putting it in their name.
They will also need to come up with some money for renovations, but overall they say they are happy that they can continue their mission.
The shelter currently has over 25 dogs and more than half a dozen cats that need forever homes.
