Nonprofit cleans up neighborhood graffiti
Residents in Morris Park are finally getting some relief following complaints about unsightly graffiti.
Fedcap, a nonprofit dedicated to moving residents of all income levels toward economic independence, has been working to address residents' needs by enlisting people to clean up the eyesores in the neighborhood. Its services entail preening homes and spaces residents say are blemishes in the community.
The nonprofit says its efforts will benefit both the workers and residents. Workers will be compensated to clean up the graffiti, while learning soft and hard skills to better themselves.
