A nor'easter is bringing a wintry mix of rain, snow and wind to parts of the Bronx.
Sidewalks are starting to become saturated with slushy wet snow around noon time Friday.
The wintry mix of snow and rain will continue throughout afternoon and into the commute home, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Residents commuting about their day in Riverdale say they're surprised at the curveball Mother Nature has thrown them.
"It's freezing, you know? It's snowing when it's not expected, and it's really windy right now. To think just a couple of days ago it was so hot and then all the sudden the temperature just went down and that's how people are getting [sick]; think it's not good for people's health," Mohammed Sohel says.
The nor'easter is expected to end sometime Saturday.
