Norwood boutique creates bras for breast cancer survivors who have undergone mastectomies
Many survivors of breast cancer say they have a hard time adjusting to their bodies after surgery.
For the last five years, one Norwood boutique has made special bras and prosthetic replacements for women who have undergone mastectomies.
Clients consult with specialists like Valerie Pagan, who has two decades of experience fitting women with mastectomy prostheses and bras.
Some prostheses are for day-wear. Others are designed for use while swimming.
Many survivors say they prefer prostheses are a safer alternative to reconstructive surgery.
