Health centers located in the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn want those suffering from long-COVID to know help is nearby.
NYC Health + Hospitals has three COVID-19 centers in the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn offering several services for New Yorkers suffering from long-COVID.
Dr. Ted Long walked News 12 crews through the Bronx facility at 1920 Webster Ave. in Tremont and spoke about how the facility can help those diagnosed with COVID0-19 regardless of ability to pay, immigration status or gender identity.
"So, if you've had COVID-19 and you're still having symptoms and it's been a month out, this can be scary for you. But here in the center, we can help you. If you're still having symptoms, call 212-COVID-19 and schedule an appointment to see us here. We can help you with whatever you're going through, which could be related to the COVID that you had," says Long.
