An ongoing leak in a Morris Heights apartment has left the tenant with an enormous hole in her ceiling and lingering odor.
Erimilea Rosario, who lives in the third-floor NYCHA apartment at 1925 Harrison Ave., told News 12 that her bathroom ceiling has caved in seven times in the 24 years she has lived there.
She says she must keep her bathroom door shut every day to prevent the smell inside from making her sick.
Rosario claims that repairmen secured a plastic covering over the hole last week. Since then, she says no other work has been done to locate the source of the leak.
The NYCHA building is managed by Krause Management. It referred News 12 to its corporate office.
NYCHA told News 12 that they will work with Krause Management to make sure necessary repairs are scheduled.
