A trash-filled lot on Courtlandt Avenue is causing growing frustration in the neighborhood.
According to the New York City Finance Department, the open lot at 925 Courtlandt Ave. is owned by New York City Housing Authority.
Residents say they believe the trash from housing complexes across the street is being brought to the lot for pickup, but they haven't seen much of it.
NYCHA told News 12 in a statement, "It is completely unacceptable to allow trash to pile up unattended, and we will begin work first thing to resolve this."
