Police say six students were injured in a school bus crash Monday morning in the Bronx.

According to authorities, police were dispatched to Gerristen Avenue and Edgewater Road where a bus was rear-ended by a truck.

Officers say the six children, aged 12-16, were conscious and alert, but complaining of minor neck and back pain.

They were transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Both drivers remained at the scene. No arrests have been made.
