A Bronx teacher has been arrested and charged with rape.  

Police say 28-year-old Jonathan Pol worked at Mott Hall Community School.

Sources say he assaulted a 13-year-old student multiple times this month at locations outside the school.

News 12 is told Pol was hospitalized for a mental and physical evaluation.

The Department of Education says they have immediately reassigned the teacher away from the classroom once they were made aware of the disturbing allegations.
