An officer from the Bronx is under fire for allegedly throwing key evidence in a domestic violence case into a pond.
Officials are investigating Officer Elbert Tim after divers were forced to search a pond in Crotona Park for a missing machete.
Tim and his partner answered a domestic violence call on Valentine's Day and disposed of the items afterwards.
According to published reports, Tim has already admitted to throwing the machete along with a bat taken from the home into the pond.
