Officials: 2 NYPD officers struck by car in the Bronx
Officials say two NYPD officers were struck by a car in the Bronx Saturday.
News 12 was told that both officers suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Witnesses say they saw an officer on the ground near the corner of Bailey Avenue and 238th Street. Workers in the area say they saw the officer trying to get to his feet while holding his arm in pain. They say he was assisted getting to the sidewalk.
It was not immediately clear if the car struck both officers or if it stayed on the scene.
