15h agoEight people and two dogs were displaced in a Bridgeport house fire, officials say.
The fire happened in the 100 block of West Liberty Street around 1:34 a.m.
Officials say smoke filled the second floor of the three-story house and that one person was rescued by a ladder.
All other people inside were able to get out on their own.
The American Red Cross is helping those who were displaced.
