EMS officials say a man is dead after crashing his car into a pole Monday morning.
The accident happened at around 9:30 a.m. when the victim attempted to make a U-turn near Co-op City Boulevard and Bellamy Loop, according to police.
The 43-year-old man was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
