Officials: More than a dozen people injured during Highbridge fire

At least 14 people were injured following a fire that tore through a three-story building in Highbridge early Saturday.

At least 14 people were injured following a fire that tore through a three-story building in Highbridge early Saturday.
Officials say more than 100 firefighters responded to the scene just after 3 a.m.
The fire destroyed the Mi Fiesta Deli and Grocery as well as four apartments that stood above the business.
Neighbors said the deli had recently undergone renovations.
They said the fire started on the second floor and was extinguished by around 5 a.m.
Two firefighters and four residents were hospitalized.
The blaze caused severe structural damage to the roof, which partially collapsed, along with another partial collapse between the second and third floor.
The Red Cross said it’s assisting one family who was displaced find a temporary shelter.
