Police: 1 dead in E. Burnside Ave. shooting
An afternoon dispute between two men left one person dead on East Burnside Avenue Wednesday.
Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Lamar Moore, of the Bronx. Area residents say he lived near the site of the shooting.
Police say Moore was arguing with another man in front of Hope Deli Inc. before he was fatally shot. He was struck in the left shoulder and on the right side of his torso.
Police say Moore was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died an hour later.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and was covering his face with a white cloth, according to police.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
