Police say two people were tied up at their Bedford Park home this weekend during a violent home invasion.
According to police, two men armed with guns forced themselves into the apartment on Mosholu Parkway and Webster Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday.
That’s when News 12 is told the duo tied the couple up using shoelaces and went after the 45-year-old man. Officials say one of the trespassers took an iron and burned the male victim demanding money. When he refused to hand over cash, News 12 is told they took off with two cellphones.
As for the victims, News 12 is told the man refused medical attention. The 33-year-old woman he was with did not suffer any physical injuries.
Police released video of one of the suspects they are looking for.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
