An unidentified assailant gunned down a 24-year-old man near a child care center on Crotona Avenue Tuesday morning, according to investigators.
Police say an attacker shot David Rivera, a Bronx resident, multiple times at around 9:15 a.m. on the 1800 block.
He later died at St. Barnabas Hospital of bullet wounds to his torso, thigh, arm and groin, according to police.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
