A man is dead following a shooting in Prospect Heights Thursday.

Police received a 911 call around 12:20 a.m. that someone had been shot inside a car in front of 15 Butler Place.

Arriving officers say they found a 29-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released but police say he lived in Brooklyn.

As for the suspect, police say they have no description yet but are asking anyone who has information to call police.
