Police: 3 gunmen wanted in separate BX shootings
Police are on the hunt for three gunmen in connection with three separate shootings in The Bronx.
According to emergency officials, a 55-year-old man was shot twice in the chest outside 690 East 138th St. at around 10 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, but his condition is not known.
A few hours earlier, authorities say a 19-year-old was found with gunshot wounds at 1013 East 180th St. Witnesses say he was riding a bike when a man wearing a black hoodie shot him. The teen is in critical condition.
In a third incident, a 23-year-old was hit in the right leg in the middle of the afternoon. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to be OK.
Police say no arrests have been made. They're urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
