Police say anti-Semitic remarks were yelled at two Jewish teens in Borough Park over the weekend.
They say the teens, ages 13 and 16, were walking along 51st Street and 12th Avenue between 1 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. when the hateful words were yelled at them.
Ex-New York state Assemblyman Dov Hikind tells News 12 that they were walking home from an event over the Sabbath when a car, which was said to have had TLC license plates, rolled up beside the teens with four men inside.
Hikind says the men started to yell "Allah Akbar." He says the terrified teens took off running, but the car sped up after them and continued spewing hateful words.
Police say the men inside were shouting, "Do you know Hitler? We love him, he did a good job!”
Just weeks ago the Anti-Defamation League released a statement about its increasing concerns over anti-Semitic attacks in New York.  It said there has been a dramatic 82% increase in anti-Semitic hate crimes, reported during just the first four months of 2019.

News 12 reached out to TLC and it said the incident was not reported to the TLC, but it is ready to take appropriate action if necessary.
