Police charge Brooklyn man in T-bone crash that involved police vehicle

Police say 29-year-old Moshe Cohen is charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving, along with a slew of violations.

Police say a Brooklyn man has been charged after a T-bone crash that involved a police car on Thursday. 
The accident happened at an intersection in Kensington at Coney Island and Foster Avenues. 
Police say 29-year-old Moshe Cohen is charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving, along with a slew of violations. 
Police say the incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. when a vehicle was responding to an emergency traveling east with emergency lights and sirens on at the time. They say a second vehicle with lights ongoing Southbound on Coney Island Avenue, passed other cars waiting, running through the steady red light. 
Police tell News 12 that’s when the two cars collided. The second vehicle struck a light pole, causing it to fall. 
The NYPD car hit another car that was at the intersection at the time. Video shows an injured man on the ground as another man calls for help. 
There is no update on police injuries at this time.
