Police charge man in connection to violent road rage incident in Greenpoint

A Queens man has been charged in connection to a road rage incident that happened on Tuesday in Greenpoint.
Officials say they were called to Norman Avenue and McGuiness Boulevard, where a 21-year-old man claimed another man came at him with a box cutter.
The suspect allegedly jumped into the victim's car, took his keys and hit the victim with the car while driving away.
Police managed to track down 46-year-old Kevin McClean and questioned him at the 94th Precinct on Friday.
Afterward, McClean was charged with attempted murder, robbery in the first degree, assault, reckless endangerment in the first degree, leaving an accident with injury and menacing in the second degree.
The victim suffered minor bruises and abrasions. He was treated at Woodhull Hospital and released.
Police did not provide any other identification for the victim.
There is no word yet on when McClean will face a judge.
