The person wanted in connection with a pattern of attempting to lure children in Brownsville is in custody, police sources say.
Brandon Rodriguez allegedly approached three girls ages 11, 12 and 13, asking them to take a photo with him and his dog on separate occasions at the end of May.
The first victim reported to police that the man inappropriately touched her after entering an apartment building he lured her into.
The two other victims who were approached were able to get away.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect seen walking with one of his dogs, a husky.
They say the man possibly has another dog that is a smaller, unknown breed.
Leadership Prep Ocean Hill School sent a letter to parents warning them that a predator has been wandering near the area.
Police sources say charges are pending.
