A knife-wielding man is wanted for robbing 10 cellphone stores since July, police say.
The latest incident happened Friday at a Boost Mobile store on East Tremont Avenue.
Investigators say the suspect walked behind the counter with two knives pointed at the employee. No one was hurt in the incident.
Police say the man has done the same thing in different stores across the borough.
News 12 is told the suspect robbed a store once in July, four times in August and five times in September.
On Aug. 14, a store employee refused to give the man anything. The NYPD says in that incident, the man slashed the employee with the knives before fleeing.
The victim in that incident is OK.
The alleged thief has stolen nearly $15,000 and three cellphones.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
