Police: Man fatally stabbed in front of Wakefield car wash
Police are searching for the person responsible for a fatal stabbing in front of a Wakefield car wash.
Officials say they they responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of the Hand Car Wash on Bronxwood Avenue just before 3 p.m. Sunday
Police arrived on the scene to find a 20-year-old on the ground in a pool of blood. He was conscious and breathing and had a stab wound on the left side of his torso, according to authorities.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD said the person responsible took off wearing wearing a green and yellow shirt and jeans.
Officials say the stabbing happened after the two men got in an argument. Witnesses say the incident was between co-workers at the car wash, but that has yet to be confirmed.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
