Police: Man fondled sleeping woman on the D Train
The New York Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man wanted for forcibly touching a woman on the subway.
Police say it happened on the northbound D train around 5 a.m. Sunday.
They say the 22-year-old woman fell asleep on the train while in transit and was suddenly woken up to discover an unknown man touching her breasts at the Bedford Park Boulevard Station once the train stopped.
Police say the woman pushed the suspect off of her and ran out of the subway car.
Police have released surveillance photos, an artist's sketch and video of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 800-577-TIPS.
