A man was pistol-whipped near the Bronx Criminal Court in Concourse Village, according to police.
It happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday near East 161st Street and Morris Avenue. The courthouse is across the street but that did not stop someone from allegedly taking out a gun and hitting someone with it.
The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
Police are still searching for the suspect. They did find what they believe was the gun used just down the street in a sewer.
No shots were fired.
