A man is accused of sexually assaulting two women on the Washington Bridge between the Bronx and Manhattan, police say.
The first incident happened on Feb. 20, as a 26-year-old woman was walking toward Manhattan on the Washington Bridge.
Police say the man approached her, displayed a knife, demanded money and placed his hand down her pants before running away.
On August 25, police say the same man raped a 20-year-old woman on the Washington Bridge while simulating having a weapon by his waistband and going through her purse.
He took off toward University Avenue. In both cases, the women were treated at the hospital and released.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
