Police: Man stabbed deli worker, stole cash from register before running off
A deli clerk is recovering after being stabbed in the hand during a robbery Sunday morning, according to police.
Around 9:30 a.m., police say a man used a scooter bike to smash through a store window at Deli and Grocery at 200 E. 165th St.
The man then allegedly slashed the employee and stole cash from a register before running off.
The suspect was described as last wearing blue sweatpants, a black hat and no shirt.
