Police are searching for a group of men in connection to an attempted robbery inside a Unionport home.
Official say the suspects tried to get into the victim’s apartment two different times.
The first incident was on Nov. 28 just before 11 a.m.
Police say at first the men climbed a fire escape and tried to remove an air conditioner from a window. When they couldn’t get into the apartment, they left.
However, two weeks later, police say two men came back to the building on Newbold and Olmstead avenues.
Cameras captured the two men trying to open the victim’s window with pry bars. News 12 is told they climbed a fire escape around 10:30 p.m. The video then shows one of the men looking through the window. Eventually authorities say they gave up and took off.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
